Monika completed specialised goldsmith studies at the College Of Arts And Crafts Zürich and went on to further studies in smithing and forging, engraving, experimental shapes, precious stone setting, and metal colouring at the College.
In addition, she completed specialised studies in coloured precious stones and diamonds at the Asian Institute of Gems in Bangkok.
Monika has practical training in goldsmithing with Karin Baumgartner (Hombrechtikon), Peter Schafroth (Zürich), and Mr. Bruno Eggenschweiler (Bauma).
She has practical training in jewellery design with Bea Liakowski (Zürich) and Alban Huerlimann at his atelier Schmuckforum in Zürich.
